Knee Pain

Come see why our knee pain protocols make such a difference.

What Is Knee Pain?

Knee pain is one of the top reasons for doctor visits in the US. While the pain and soreness often can go away with rest, ice, and over-the-counter pain medications, if it becomes too severe or fails to abate in a timely manner, you may need to take further action.

Due to advances in medical technology, we are offering cutting-edge and state-of-the-art regenerative treatments for all of our patients. From medicare covered synovial fluid stimulating viscosupplementation to regenerative medicine including PRP & connective tissue supplementation.

If you have crippling pain or stiffness in your knee, you know just how much it can limit your daily routine. Our ultimate goal is to help our patients get their lives back again. We want to see our patients doing what they love most once again and enjoying the life they’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Many of our patients are trying to avoid:

  • Endless cortisone shots
  • Dangerous medication
  • Painful or ineffective knee replacement surgery.

Multiple Knee Pain Options

We always begin with a thorough knee evaluation to determine whether or not we can accept your case. If we feel like you are a good candidate for care that DOES NOT require surgery, we will make our best recommendations for your case.

There are several different approaches that we can choose from to match the best recommendation to your type of knee problem.

Below are some of our options with a brief description of each:

ViscoSupplementation

FDA Approved and Medicare Covered to help treat your knee pain and get you back to an active life!

Why ViscoSupplementation?

People with osteoarthritis generally have less hyaluronic acid in their joints than they should. This can cause symptoms like pain, stiffness, and swelling. The idea behind viscosupplementation is that replacing this hyaluronic acid may help reduce symptoms.

    Additional Options

Viscosupplementation is a procedure where a gel-like substance called hyaluronic acid, which is a component of synovial fluid, is injected into the joints to increase its lubricating and shock-absorbing properties. For most patients, gel injections are done in a series of weekly injections for 3-5 weeks.

    PRP Injections

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. It is a platelet-rich fraction of plasma, collected from your own blood sample that contains a concentrated source of platelets.

    Advantages of PRP:

    • It works
    • All natural
    • Minimally invasive
    • Very Low Risk
    • Quick Recovery – Little to no downtime from physical/social activities
    • Patient Satisfaction
    • Easy procedure

    Connective Tissue Supplementation

Wharton’s Jelly Tissue allografts for connective tissue supplementation can be applied to the defect in joints to assist in the body’s own healing process.

These connective tissue allografts have been being used around the world to help patients achieve a more natural healing process.

    Advantages of Connective Tissue Supplements:

    • They work to heal tissue
    • All natural
    • Minimally invasive

    • Safety governed by the FDA and AATB (American Association of Tissue Banks)
    • Quick Recovery – Little to no downtime from physical/social activities

FINALLY, A NON-SURGICAL APPROACH TO KNEE PAIN AND ARTHRITIC JOINTS.

of At Chronic Conditions Center, we do a detailed examination to determine whether or not your knee pain/problem or joint problem might be a good candidate for care. If we find that you are a candidate for care, we will recommend a care plan that best suits the particular needs of your joint problem.

Depending on the patient, knee treatments may include gel injections, hands on therapy, home exercises, Cold laser, Pulsewave, PRP or Connective Tissue Supplements.  All of our treatments are all natural and are designed to return the patient to as close to normal levels of function as possible.
